Bad news about the beets. It would seem a group of large four legged brown creatures have found them. They are hitting them hard now. Digging them up and eating the tops off. That nice plush food plot in the pick is being destroyed. Hopefully the 2 acres we planted of GH raddish and maximum will draw them off a little. We also put in 5 acres of soys a week ago close to the beets. Hopefully all the new green coming up will draw their attention and give the beets some time to grow bigger and last until fall.

Beets hanging in there. Sprayed them twice but with all the bare spots the weeds and gras keep coming back. Last year we planted them to thick this year to thin. Maybe next year I will get it just right. Anyway the grazing has slown down with all this crazy heat. Deer are staying in the corn.
